BEFORE: A young girl’s room challenged by toys, books, craft supplies and lots of laundry. Without a simple system to keep her space tidy things always ended up on the bed or the floor.
AFTER: She did a great job letting go of unused things so they could go to deserving local charities. With the volume of items lessened, mom purchased open storage from a big box store. Now, putting items back in their proper home is super quick and easy and she can see the things she loves!
BEFORE: My favorite “fashionista” was very frustrated by her closet. It is a large closet in square footage but it didn’t take advantage of vertical space. And, it didn’t provide her with adequate means to store folded items, shoes, and handbags. This made finding her favorite things difficult to say the least.
AFTER: After paring down a bit and installing a few inexpensive storage tools, she’s ready for the runway - or whatever else is on the schedule!
BEFORE:This was the "command center" for a family of 5 that just wasn't working. It was located in a corner of a very busy kitchen. The work surface was too small and the desk drawers didn't operate properly. The bulletin board was big, but difficult to reach and utilize effectively.
AFTER: Now here's a "command center" that commands attention! We took advantage of the wall space and provided the homeowner needed storage by using a recycled wall cabinet painted a soothing green. We utilized a smaller bulletin board with a frame that matches her accessories and placed it where it was easier to reach. We added wall pockets for her children's schoolwork so it is readily available.
BEFORE: This bright sunroom housed art supplies, toys, sports gear and recycling for a busy family of four. A great space that just needed a little tweaking....
AFTER:We reused the kid-friendly storage fixtures the homeowner already had, pared down the art supplies and added a few inexpensive ones so the room could serve its many functions with ease.
